We will plan a frank conversation about what you have been noticing you want to change. We will also chat about my way of working and your way of working to ensure we create a flow that benefits you.
In the first sessions, we’ll build a clear, shared picture of what’s going on: what you’re experiencing, when it tends to show up, what triggers it, and what keeps it going. We’ll place this in context (health, stress, sleep, relationships, work) and identify patterns over time. Just as importantly, we’ll map strengths, values, and what already helps - so we can agree the most useful priorities and next steps.
Therapy is an active, evolving process. After we’ve agreed a clear framework, we get into the work in a structured, warm, collaborative way.
We'll adjust our approach in tandem with the gains made in therapy by having regular reviews. This will allow us to consolidate changes, check what’s changing, what’s getting in the way, and what needs adjusting - so the therapy stays focused, responsive, and genuinely useful.
